About the Band

The purpose of Awake My Glory (AMG) is to passionately perform music that brings glory to God, emboldens the spirt of the Christ-follower, and convicts the unbeliever of their need for the redemption of Jesus Christ.

AMG is a group made up of several musicians from Twin Cities area churches who enjoy using their gifts to spread the glory of God.  We are all regular people and each of us serve in a local church in one way or another.

Our band name comes from Psalm 57.7-8: "My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast!  I will sing and make melody!  Awake my glory!  Awake, O harp and lyre!  I will awake the dawn!"

Members of AMG have participated in several worship/media events, such as "Took My Place," "10 Reasons Jesus Came to Die" and most recently, "He Has Come for Us," performed at Riverview Baptist Church during the 2013 Christmas season.
